Our team of passionate leaders brings extensive experience in education, community development, and nonprofit management. Together, they drive our mission forward, transforming challenges into opportunities for young women across Ethiopia.
- Amare Berhie, Founder and Executive Director: The visionary behind EthioGBFF, Amare leads with empathy and a commitment to empowering Ethiopian girls.
- Dr. Melsew Tefera, Director of Ethiopia Operations: As a professor and strategist, Dr. Melsew guides EthioGBFF’s on-the-ground operations, ensuring every student’s success.
- Essayas Mesfin, Vice Executive Director, Southwest U.S.: Expands awareness and support for EthioGBFF’s programs in the Southwest region.
- Tizita Moges Abate, Secretary of the Board and Vice Executive Director for the Midwest U.S. leads advocacy and resource mobilization for educating and empowering young women.
- Solomon Mulugeta, Vice Executive Director, West Coast U.S.: Works tirelessly with local communities to create educational opportunities.
- Michael L. Amare, Chief Technology Officer: Enhances EthioGBFF’s digital strategy, optimizing communication and outreach.
- Gabriel A. Amare, Chief Financial Officer: Oversees financial planning, ensuring accountability and sustainability.
