How to Apply for the Ethiopian Girls’ Bright Future Fund (EthioGBFF) Scholarship

Our scholarship application process is designed to uphold transparency, fairness, and accountability. Follow these steps to apply and take your first step toward a brighter future:

Step 1: Submit Your Application

Submit your complete application package to the Sekota Selection Committee. Your application will be reviewed based on specific criteria to identify eligible candidates.

Step 2: Document Submission

If selected by the committee, you will need to provide the following documents for final review by the intake executive committee:

• Essay: Write a concise essay explaining why you deserve the scholarship.
• Consent Form: Include a signed consent form.
• Biography: Provide a biography with your short-term and long-term vision.
• Photo: Submit a high-resolution portrait photo.
• Grade Reports: Include your recent grade reports.

Step 3: Assessment & Approval

The intake executive committee will review your submitted documents to ensure they meet EthioGBFF’s requirements. Your eligibility and the quality of your application will determine your approval.

Step 4: Notification of Selection

Successful candidates will be notified of their selection and receive detailed instructions on the scholarship terms, conditions, and any additional requirements.

Step 5: Ongoing Support

EthioGBFF is dedicated to supporting scholarship recipients throughout their studies. You’ll receive mentorship, counseling, and access to essential resources to aid your success.
