How to Apply for the Ethiopian Girls’ Bright Future Fund (EthioGBFF) Scholarship

Step 1: Submission of Application

Prospective candidates must submit their application packages to the Sekota selection committee. The committee will evaluate applications based on predetermined criteria to identify eligible candidates.

Step 2: Document Requirements

After the selection committee’s assessment, applicants must provide the following documents to the intake executive committee for final approval:

  1. Essay: A concise essay explaining why they deserve the scholarship.
  2. Consent Form: A signed consent form.
  3. Biography: A biography containing short-term and long-term vision statements.
  4. Photo: A high-resolution portrait photo.
  5. Grade Reports: Recent grade reports.

Step 3: Assessment and Final Approval

The intake executive committee will review the submitted documents to ensure they comply with the fund’s requirements and align with the selection criteria. Final approval will be granted based on the candidate’s eligibility and the quality of their application package.

Step 4: Notification

Successful candidates will be notified of their selection and provided with detailed instructions regarding the scholarship program’s terms and conditions and any additional requirements.

Step 5: Ongoing Support

EthioGBFF is committed to supporting scholarship recipients throughout their academic journey. This includes providing mentorship, counseling, and access to resources to ensure their success.
